Privacy Policy

Last reviewed: 4 November 2026.

This Privacy Policy explains how OtakuNaviya handles information relating to visitors and email enquiries. The website publishes independent anime-merchandise buying guides for readers in India. The policy will be updated if our services, technologies or legal requirements change.

Who operates this website

OtakuNaviya is an independently operated editorial website run by an individual based in Japan, primarily for readers in India. The website is not currently operated by an incorporated company. For privacy questions or requests, contact the site team at AnimeMerchRadar@gmail.com. The operator’s personal name and residential address are not routinely displayed on this website. Where applicable law requires operator-identifying information to be made available, please request it using the email address above; we will provide the legally required information without undue delay in accordance with applicable law. Requests concerning access to or changes to an individual’s personal data are handled separately and may require appropriate identity verification.

Information collected and why

Our hosting provider, ColorfulBox, records technical access logs, including requests to this site’s HTTPS pages. These logs can contain IP addresses, requested resources, browser or user-agent details, timestamps and technical response information. The hosting panel has access-log archiving enabled and a monthly archive-removal option selected. Other server logs, backups and copies may have different retention periods; a complete deletion timeline has not been verified. When you email our published contact address, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address, message and attachments, so that we can respond to enquiries, review corrections or assess business requests. Do not submit sensitive information.

Cookies, analytics and other services

WordPress and our hosting infrastructure may use cookies or similar technical functions for administration, security and website operation. We have not deliberately enabled Google Analytics, advertising tags or an embedded public contact form on the pages reviewed as of 4 November 2026. This does not rule out essential cookies, host-level security processing or other technical requests. We will review and update this notice, and implement any required consent choices, before adding optional analytics, advertising or affiliate tracking services.

Affiliate links

If approved affiliate links are introduced later, clicking them may lead to an external retailer or affiliate network that processes data under its own policies. We will disclose affiliate relationships and identify the relevant programmes when known.

Storage, retention and security

We use ColorfulBox hosting for this WordPress website and a Google Gmail mailbox for enquiries. Raw access logging and archiving are enabled in the hosting panel. A monthly archive-removal setting is selected, but the panel also lists server-default retention without automatic removal; we cannot promise that all copies of logs are deleted after one month. Email correspondence may be retained while needed to handle enquiries, maintain relevant business records, or comply with legal requirements. We review access controls and retention settings, and may update this policy when confirmed provider-specific retention periods become available.

Use of information and updates

We use technical access information to operate and secure the website and to investigate technical problems. We use information voluntarily sent by email to respond to questions, consider factual corrections and evaluate relevant business requests. Our hosting and email providers process information as necessary to provide those services under their own terms. We do not currently operate an on-site checkout. We will update this policy if analytics, advertising, affiliate services, forms or public comments change how information is collected. Changes to this policy will be reflected in the review date shown at the top of the page.

Privacy requests and complaints

To request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, to ask about our use of information or security safeguards, or to raise a privacy complaint, email AnimeMerchRadar@gmail.com. Please describe your request and provide sufficient information to help us identify the relevant correspondence. We may need to verify identity before releasing personal information. We will explain applicable procedures and respond in accordance with legal requirements. No public contact form is currently offered.

Comments and public submissions

As of 4 November 2026, new WordPress posts have comments and pingbacks disabled by default. The initial WordPress sample post has been moved back to draft, and the site’s current informational pages, including Contact, About, Affiliate Disclosure and the merchandise comparison page, do not accept comments. OtakuNaviya does not intend to offer a public comment-submission service at launch. If comments or other public submissions are enabled in the future, this notice will be updated before enabling them.

Please do not email passwords, payment card information or other sensitive data. We review privacy questions and requests in accordance with applicable law.
