Our mission
OtakuNaviya is an independently run English-language editorial project based in Japan, designed to help anime fans in India research merchandise before buying. It is currently operated by an individual, not an incorporated company. We compare the considerations involved in buying from India-based sellers and importing from retailers in Japan or other countries. Our guides cover clothing, figures and gift options, with attention to authentic-product claims, seller transparency, international delivery, possible Indian import charges and returns. Our role is to provide buying information and, if approved programmes are activated, referral links to the retailers themselves. We do not manufacture, warehouse or independently dispatch these products.
How we create guides
Our articles begin with desk research, product specifications, manufacturer materials and retailer policies. We distinguish verified facts from seller claims, opinions and examples. A mention of a retailer does not imply endorsement, partnership or that we have purchased its products.
Our editorial commitments
- We do not present research as a hands-on test.
- We avoid publishing live price or stock claims without checking and dating them.
- We require a manual approval process before adding products to our comparison catalogue.
- We aim to label any paid relationship or affiliate link clearly.
- We correct material errors when identified.
Where we are now
OtakuNaviya is an English-language website for readers in India. Our domain is otakunaviya.com. This is an early-stage editorial project: product listings have not been independently approved for our comparison catalogue and no retailer affiliate partnership has been confirmed. Current public materials should be treated as research guidance, not purchase guarantees or evidence of a commercial endorsement.
Who sells the merchandise?
We do not manufacture or stock products. A shopper who follows a retailer link purchases from that retailer, subject to the retailer’s checkout, product, shipping, cancellation and returns terms. Items imported from Japan or elsewhere may have additional shipping charges, customs duties and handling costs when delivered to India.

How to report an error
We aim to correct factual errors in product identification, licensing, delivery and returns. Our approved contact email is provided on the Contact page. Where an article mentions a date for a price or retailer-policy check, that date describes research timing rather than a guarantee of continued accuracy.
